Dr. Mark Kim

Dr. Mark Kim is an accomplished physician who grew up in Dallas, Texas and studied at St. Mark’s School of Texas, Rice University, and Baylor College of Medicine. He graduated from Waco Family Medicine in 2000 and worked with MultiCare Health System in Auburn, Washington until 2010. In 2004, Dr. Kim took the initiative to introduce minimally invasive vein treatments to his practice at MultiCare and treated thousands of patients successfully. He joined Eterna in 2014 and is proud to serve patients from in and around Puyallup, Washington with excellence, integrity and compassion. Dr. Kim is an expert in the treatment of venous disorders and has over 20 years of experience. He is able to help you with any severity of vein disease, from spider vein injections to the treatment of varicose veins and chronic ulcers associated with venous insufficiency. He is a member of the American Vein & Lymphatic Society, Certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, and Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition to providing world class vein care, Dr. Kim is also able to assist you in the quest to remain Eternally Youthful. We can't stay young forever, but we can always strive to look our best no matter what age the calendar tells us we are! Dr. Kim is holistic in his approach to anti-aging and will encourage all patients to optimize diet, exercise, sleep, stress and skin care, as well as limiting alcohol and avoiding tobacco products, prior to embarking on a program of aesthetic treatments. Ann

Ann received her Registered Nurse training at Tacoma Community College, her BSN from Western Governor’s University, and her Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. Having previously worked in plastic surgery, ophthalmology and dermatology, she brings over 30 years of nursing experience to Eterna! Ann has been an aesthetic injector since 2005 and is skilled in all aspects of facial injections including neurotoxins, fillers, and PDO thread lifts. Her versatility and knowledge of facial anatomy allow her to utilize the safest, most comfortable techniques, and provide expert care for her patients. Ann's priority is always patient safety and comfort, while enhancing her patients' natural beauty. She embraces continuing education through training opportunities and by attending aesthetic conferences, and is always excited to mentor and train other injectors. Ann’s calm, nurturing demeanor will reassure you throughout your procedures. She looks forward to meeting you and helping make your visit to Eterna as comfortable as possible. Angela

Angela is one of Eterna’s exceptional Master Aestheticians. She received her training at the prestigious Euro Institute in 2003. The Euro Institute is recognized as one of the premier esthetic schools in North America. Before becoming a Master Aesthetician, Angela worked in the medical field as a Certified Surgical Technologist for more than 10 years. She assisted in cosmetic surgical cases for a plastic surgeon, as well as in a hospital setting for more acute cases. She is also trained in suturing wounds and has taken several courses towards her nursing degree. Total, she has been working in the medical field for 26 years and counting! Angela’s passion for skincare is highlighted by her enthusiasm to learn and grow. She regularly attends conferences and classes to stay abreast of the ever-changing field of aesthetics to better serve you, her patients! She is always willing to take on a challenge and become our resident expert on any new treatment or skincare product! Angela was first trained in Coolsculpting in 2013 and has since become quite expert. She received advanced training by attending Coolsculpting University, as well as their Masters classes in 2017 and 2019 in Pleasanton, California. Angela has also excelled in dermaplaning and has assisted in training others in this technique for the Skin Ceuticals company. Her areas of expertise include dermaplaning, chemical peels, Hydrafacials, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, laser pigment corrections to the skin, and advanced microneedling techniques like PRP and radiofrequency microneedling. Angela’s goal is to provide immediate and long-lasting corrective solutions for her patients’ skin. She is passionate about educating her patients on overall health and how good habits result in healthy skin!

Carissa

Carissa is a Master Aesthetician educated at the Euro Institute of Skin Care and the Washington Laser Institute, two of the leading aesthetic programs in Washington State. She has an extensive background in treatments to optimize the condition of your skin, including lasers. She is also passionate about continuing education which has allowed her to stay on top of new techniques and treatments. Carissa provides a scientific and holistic approach that will address your concerns, with a warmth that will put you at ease. Outside of the treatment room she enjoys hiking, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.

Kathy

Kathy started her career as a Phlebotomist and then became a Medical Assistant, where she worked alongside Dr. Kim for 8 years at a MultiCare primary care clinic in Auburn. From 2010 to 2019 she worked at Dedicated Women’s Health in Puyallup and was an invaluable member of their office. In late 2019, Dr. Kim was able to persuade her to join the Eterna team where her passion and commitment to patient care are demonstrated on a daily basis. Kathy enjoys talking with patients, and giving kind and compassionate care to each person she meets. She is a lifelong learner and loves the busy energy of a medical office! She loves helping patients through their treatments to get the best possible results. Her daily goal is to help you enjoy your experience at Eterna, leaving you well educated and feeling taken care of during your visit.

Malia

Malia has had a diverse career working in various administrative roles, most recently as an Administrative Assistant with the Auburn School District for 15 years. She also holds a certification in Cosmetology which has been a lifelong interest. At Eterna, Malia started as a medical receptionist but found herself drawn toward patient care. She successfully completed her Medical Assistant program at Pima Medical Institute in Renton in June of 2023, and is now Eterna's newest Certified Medical Assistant! ​ When not at work or school, Malia delights in spending time with family and friends on the beaches of Hawaii.

Carla

Carla has worked in the healthcare industry for over 25 years, primarily as an Administrative Specialist with Kaiser Permanente in the Surgery Center. At Eterna, Carla enjoys interacting with patients and functions as one of our amazing Care Coordinators who will make sure that your time in the office runs smoothly and comfortably. She loves to spend time with family and friends at their lake cabin, kayaking, boating and hiking. Other talents include holding a real estate license to help family and friends in their buying and selling journey.

Devon

Devon has joined Eterna with a diverse background in the beauty industry, with over 25 years of experience as a cosmetologist. She also completed the CPC medical billing and coding program through Pierce College, and holds a CPC credential through the AAPC, which leads to a unique understanding of the role she fills. Devon not only enjoys interacting directly with the patients at the front desk, but also in the back office helping to facilitate the practices business needs. Outside of the office Devon enjoys spending time with her family, which includes two yorkies, reading & visiting Washington Wine Country!
