  • Susan Bushur

    Events Manager

    Susan Bushur, Events Manager for Granite Transformations, leads all the on-site operations promoting the company at all consumer shows throughout the Pacific Northwest. Susan has been with Granite Transformations since late 2017. Prior to her time with GT, she spent 13 years with Angie’s List as Event Marketing Manager throughout the US. In that role, she traveled coast to coast managing logistics, branding, and the on-site promotion of Angie’s List at 50 different locations and shows a year. Susan has always said that ultimately a brand is how people feel about you, your associates, and your company. She has always expressed thankfulness to be associated with unparalleled people, products, and services that make it easy for her to build a positive brand and spread goodwill. Wherever she is, whatever she does, ultimately Susan wants people’s experiences to be exceptional. It’s her passion. Susan enjoys exploring the surroundings of her new home here in the Pacific Northwest. An Indiana native for nearly her entire life, no day goes by that doesn’t also include keeping in touch with her four adult children and grandbaby.

    Design Consultant

    Lee Prewitt, design consultant for Granite Transformations, covers our South Sound territory. He brings an extensive knowledge and passion of fashion/design aesthetics he garnered from a highly successful career in the ophthalmic eyewear arena. Lee brings an easy consultative approach to help his clients achieve their goals in kitchen and bath makeovers. As an avid DIY geek, he understands the process of home makeovers and guides his customers to a smooth conclusion of their vision. When he is not helping his clients realize their dreams, he can be found on the golf course, spending time with family, or traveling.

  • Tom Greenwood

    Senior Design Consultant

    Tom Greenwood is a senior design consultant with Granite Transformations. He really enjoys working directly with customers to transform their homes. Tom has been selected to be a speaker at the GT Design Consultant Annual Sales Conferences because of his passion for the company, his skill with design, and his ability to delight customers. For over 15 years, Tom has worked to assist customers in achieving their dream kitchens and baths. Tom has a BA degree in economics and accounting from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. In his spare time, Tom loves to spend time with his family. He also loves anything related to sports and the outdoors. Aside from design, his first love is the game of golf; he played in high school and college and has coached a number of high school golf teams. Tom very much enjoys our customers and helping them design a space to be more visually pleasing and functional.

  • Nicole Nicolaisen

    Design Consultant/Operations Assistant

    Nicole started as a Design Consultant with Granite Transformations over 2 years ago and while she continues to do consults, she has also taken on the responsibility of Operations Assistant. She has been a jewelry designer, real estate salesperson, general contractor, project manager, and has worked in a variety of customer service and administrative roles. Nicole enjoys providing great customer service, whether it be over the phone, in the showroom, at home shows, or in customer’s homes. Her goal is to deliver an exceptional experience to all customers when completing a project with Granite Transformations and she appreciates the hard work and contributions of the Granite Transformations team to help deliver that positive experience. Nicole likes to spend her free time with her daughter and little rescue dog from Mexico. She enjoys walking, the great outdoors, and loves boating. She keeps busy with a seemingly never-ending list of home renovation projects.

  • April Peterson

    Marketing Coordinator

    April Peterson, Marketing Coordinator, oversees and has a very active role in the execution of all advertising for the Cascadia region. April has been with the company since 2016. After returning from studying abroad in London, April took a break from school and began working in the distribution center for an action sports retailer based out of the greater Seattle area. Seeing what goes on behind the scenes of a retail business, combined with her background in graphic design, inspired April to choose Marketing as a major. She obtained her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Western Washington University. She spends her time outside of work keeping up with her three kids and still loves to travel when she gets the chance. Interior design has been a passion of April’s since she was a toddler. She is thrilled to have a position that combines so many of the things she loves.

  • Maryssa Menendez

    Project Coordinator and Show Ambassador

    Maryssa Menendez works as a Project Coordinator and Show Ambassador for Granite Transformations. When she is not lucky enough to be representing the company at local home shows, she is working behind-the-scenes on SEO/SEM, P&L, and other projects. Maryssa has been with the company since the summer of 2018. Before that, she was attending college in California where she earned her Studio Acting Degree. Throughout high school, Maryssa worked at home shows representing a variety of companies and products. Her time in shows taught her how to build relationships with customers and help them find exactly what they need or want. In her free time, Maryssa is usually curled up on the couch with her dog and a good book. She also enjoys hiking, going to the theatre, and spending time with her family and friends. Maryssa is passionate about representing a company she believes in and ensuring that each customer has a wonderful experience from beginning to end. She wants both the company and the customer to succeed and works hard to make sure everyone is happy and excited about every new endeavor.

  • Sara Doolittle

    Operations Coordinator

    Sara Doolittle handles daily operations with a strong focus on customer relations. Sara began working with Granite Transformations in the Fall of 2019. Prior to that, she worked as a store manager for a national flooring company, focusing on both wholesale and retail sales. In her spare time, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, which often includes teaching her daughter how to cook and working on various car projects with her husband. Sara came to Granite Transformations with exceptional customer service and management experience. In her time here she has continued to demonstrate that she is an important asset and is looking forward to growing with the company.

  • Deb and Bob Varner

    Owners

    Deb and Bob Varner are the owners of Granite Transformations in the Cascadia region. They both spent years working for large corporations, Deb in Finance and Operations, and Bob in Market Research. In 2003 they transitioned into ownership of Granite Transformations, and they love what they do. They have been working to expand the operation every few years. Deb and Bob chose Granite Transformations because of the outstanding product, revolutionary process, and the ability to have a positive impact on people’s homes and lives in just a few days. Their favorite part of the job is getting to work with customers. As owners, they are very active in the operations of their company. Deb can often be found running design consultation appointments, returning phone calls, and meeting with customers in the office. Bob is always out templating people’s homes and running return appointments to ensure that every customer is thrilled with their final result. When not at work, Deb and Bob enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. They have adventurous spirits and can often be found sailing and hiking in the PNW and around the world. The happiness of their customers and employees is their number one priority. They worked hard to build a business to be proud of. Deb and Bob believe in going above and beyond to meet the needs of their customers and work tirelessly to meet that standard every day.

  • Gloria Major

    Bookkeeper

    Gloria Major handles the bookkeeping transactions for the Cascadia Granite Transformation franchises. She has been with the organization since 2016 and has more than 35 years of bookkeeping experience, working with many law firms and other small companies. She also owns her own contract bookkeeping company. Gloria attended the University of Washington and Central Washington University, studying Business Management with an emphasis on Accounting. When not working, she plays pickleball a couple of nights per week and has also competed in Powerlifting and Strongman competitions. Other than that, she likes to do all sorts of crafting, and play stupid games on her phone while watching reality TV. Since her three grown children are all out of the house, she and her husband, Tom, host international exchange students so the house doesn’t get too quiet.

  • Katy Wolfe

    Design Assistant

    Katy Wolfe, Design Assistant, serves our customers, team members, and partners by operating the Puyallup showroom. Katy started with the company in September of 2020. She works directly with our customers (often as their first source of contact), schedules appointments, creates files, builds reports, and ensures that the office runs smoothly. With over 15 years of experience in the countertop industry, Katy was able to transition into her role at Granite Transformations with ease. She brought with her a vast wealth of knowledge, ranging from cutting lam, inventory tracking, purchasing product, and estimating quotes. With her attention to detail and excellent organization skills, Katy has been able to tie her extensive experience into her current work and quickly became a wonderful asset to the Granite Transformations family. In her spare time, you can find Katy spending quality time with her daughters, singing or dancing to 80’s rock music, and sometimes both. In order to further connect with a broader group of people, Katy is hoping to learn ASL in the near future. As the smiling face of the South Sound showroom, or as she would call herself, the office clown, Katy loves to make people laugh. During our weekly meetings, she is the first to crack a joke and lighten the mood. She brings that same energy when working with customers, guaranteeing that you will always leave that office with a smile on your face.
