Lisa Beach
Branch ManagerPrior to joining us in 2000, Lisa’s job experience was in retail, where she started out making boxes for Bon Marche during the holidays. Her mom – an accountant who taught her many lessons in finance – was the biggest influence on her decision to choose a career in the financial industry. Her favorite thing about working at WSECU? Getting to watch her team help members with their great recommendations and advice. Lisa loves the outdoors and enjoys exploring the Northwest, where she takes photos, fly-fishes, wogs (we had to ask too – it’s a walk-jog) and loves to garden. She’s also been known to surf, and has an eye for fashion and design. She recently joined a yoga studio – which she loves – and teaches CPR/First Aid with her dad, a retired Tacoma firefighter. And… she owns a wonderful German Shorthair Pointer named Uli. She’s been a Pierce County resident all of her life and her husband is originally from Puyallup, which lends to her excitement of serving as branch manager at our Puyallup South Hill location. “Being part of the Puyallup community is important to me for many reasons,” Lisa said. “One of those reasons is the diversity of the Pierce County community and all the amazing activities it offers. Now that we have a presence in Puyallup, we’ll be able to be a part of that engagement and bring the energy and benefits of WSECU to the table. “I’ve lived in the Puyallup area all my life and I’m passionate about letting people know why WSECU is such a great partner – in the financial world and in the community – and how our team can help in so many ways,” she continued. “Look for us at local community events and helping out in the Puyallup School District, local food bank and many other activities.
